It’s easy to tell some to “be more confident”, but in reality confidence requires some effort.
Let me share with you 5 things that have truly helped me boost my confidence in a short amount of time
Before I get started, I want you all to be easy on yourselves and try to be kinder to yourself, as that will help tremendously in organically increasing your confidence
In this post I’ll give some practical tips, but I am not a professional, so please seek professional assistance for better guidance
1. Good Hygiene
Having a night/morning routine to ensure that you’re maintaining a good hygiene is so important!
Being clean and smelling good around the clock, is my number 1 tip to increasing your confidence. If you pump into someone you know, you won’t be insecure about the way you smell
I’ll be sharing tips on a thorough night/morning routine for good hygiene, stay tuned!
2. Be Easy on Yourself
This tip is so important, but requires a bit of practice
Be easy on yourself, if you make a mistake or get into an awkward interaction, don’t let it consume your brain. People forget about conversations they’ve had and you don’t want to stress over things that are not serious at all
Once you’re easy on yourself, you’ll naturally be more confident because you’re allowing yourself to be more natural and make mistakes
3. Walk With Confidence
Walking with confidence helped me in tricking my mind that I’m more confident
Walking with confidence means to fix your posture, be more natural and not stiff when walking. Walk with your head up and don’t be afraid to make eye contact when walking
4. Travel More!
This is easier said than done, but travel has helped me so much with my confidence!
When I traveled, I realized how big the world actually is, I looked at life from a different lens, and I started to let go of self-doubting opinions. I got to know people from different paths of life, and they helped me to broaden my view on individuality, which ultimately increased my confidence
5. Breathe!
Breathe, take a deep breath and enjoy the moment. Don’t get too caught up in the future and be in the present!
When you live in the moment, you start to listen more, and you start to appreciate the smaller things. This increases your confidence because it enables you to realize how easy this life is and how powerful you are
I hope that I was of help!
Confidence requires some effort, but starting to research about the topic of confidence is definitely a good start. Again, I am not a professional in the topic of confidence, so please seek professional help if needed.
